Dr. Peter Goldman Returns to the Bay Area, Bringing Zone Technique and a Distinct Approach to Healing to Berkeley, CA

Founder of Zone School of Healing Uses the Zone Technique to Balance the Body’s Six Main Systems, Helping Clients Pursue Healing at the Highest Level

BERKELEY, CA, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- After nearly a decade of traveling all over the U.S. to teach others, Dr. Peter Goldman has returned to his roots in Northern California. For people struggling with persistent systemic or musculoskeletal issues after other approaches have fallen short, Dr. Peter Goldman, D.C. is offering a distinctly different path forward. From his Berkeley, California office, Dr. Goldman practices the Zone Technique, a timeless healing art designed to balance the six main systems of the body and support its innate ability to heal.

Dr. Goldman has dedicated decades to the study and practice of healing, developing a reputation that has already had clients from more than 30 cities around the world fly in to see him for healing.. His philosophy is centered on a straightforward but ambitious mission: “to help suffering humanity heal.”

At the heart of Dr. Goldman's work is the Zone Technique, his refinement of Zone Therapy, a healing system developed by Dr. Thurman Fleet in the 1930s. Having learned Zone Therapy starting in 1993, Dr. Goldman refined what he had been taught and in 2002 he created Zone Technique. Today, the Zone Technique is not only the method he applies with clients, but one he teaches to doctors and healers around the world through his Zone School of Healing, which he founded in 2017.

The Zone Technique focuses on balancing six primary systems of the body: Glands, Eliminative Organs, Nervous System, Digestion, Muscles and Circulation. The method involves evaluating specific points at the back of the head to determine which of the six zones may require attention, followed by gentle and precise stimulation of the spinal cord.

Dr. Goldman's approach is based on the principle that when the body's six zones are properly balanced, the body is better positioned to regulate itself and function at its highest level.

What makes Dr. Goldman's work particularly noteworthy is its focus beyond musculoskeletal complaints alone. The Zone Technique is applied with the goal of addressing balance across the body's major systems, giving the method relevance for people seeking help with both musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal concerns.

Dr. Goldman describes the core value behind his work as achieving “unparalleled healing results” with systemic and musculoskeletal conditions. His vision extends beyond simply helping people feel better temporarily. His long-term goal is to help those genuinely interested in healing pursue greater physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

For some clients, that search for healing has already included numerous other avenues.

Dr. Goldman's practice is especially focused on individuals who may feel they have exhausted their options and are still looking for answers. One of the defining principles behind his work is helping people pursue healing even after previous methods they tried did not produce the results they were seeking.

That philosophy has helped Dr. Goldman's work reach far beyond the Bay Area.

After years of developing and refining his method, Dr. Goldman founded Zone School of Healing in 2017, expanding his mission from working directly with individual clients to educating doctors and healers worldwide. Through online education and in-person seminars, he teaches the Zone Technique along with broader principles surrounding what he describes as “healing at the highest level.”

Dr. Goldman's background includes a DC degree from Life College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia, as well as an Economics degree from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Although his professional background includes many years in chiropractic practice, his current work is centered specifically on practicing the Zone Technique as a healing art rather than practicing chiropractic.

The Zone Technique looks at the interconnected function of six major bodily systems. The glandular system relates to functions including energy, sleep and regulation; the eliminative system encompasses the body's channels of elimination; the nervous system relates to the body's communication network; the digestive system focuses on digestion and assimilation; the muscular system encompasses movement and structural function; and the circulatory system relates to the flow of blood and lymph throughout the body.

Through this six-system approach, Dr. Goldman's goal is to help create the conditions in which the body can do what he believes it is naturally designed to do: heal.

That mission has remained remarkably consistent throughout his career. Asked why he began his work, Dr. Goldman's answer is direct: “To help suffering humanity to heal.”

It is also a mission that he sees on a global scale. Rather than limiting his vision of giving back to one community, Dr. Goldman seeks to make an impact worldwide by spreading his approach to healing through his work with clients at his office in Berkeley, CA,  and through the practitioners he educates across the earth with his Zone School of Healing.

For those who have struggled to find meaningful results elsewhere, Dr. Goldman's message is one of possibility: “there may still be another approach worth exploring.”

With clients traveling from around the world, an educational platform training doctors and healers, and decades devoted to refining the Zone Technique, Dr. Goldman continues pursuing the goal that has defined his work from the beginning — helping people achieve unparalleled healing results and experience what he calls healing at the highest level.

Dr. Peter Goldman currently sees clients by appointment at his Berkeley office, located at 2935 Telegraph Ave., Suite A, Berkeley, CA 94705
